ACCREDITED RANZCP FORMAL EDUCATION COURSE

All Semesters are 20 weeks; this includes a 2 week mid semester break for Years 2 &3 to enable reflection and catch up on learning tasks.

The Postgraduate Course in Psychiatry is revised each year to meet the specific needs of psychiatry trainees, with:

  • Enrolment into one integrated unit per semester
  • Mapping of every topic to RANZCP syllabus
  • Access to Psychiatry Professional Leads throughout your slides
  • Live teaching sessions with delayed viewing options
  • Examination of Practice
  • Integration of RANZCP preparation exam sessions.

How do I enrol?

To access the units you need to enrol into the relevant course through the MyHETIconnect student management system. This is a simple process that ensures all your results and study is recorded in our system. You can obtain a copy of your Results and/or enrolments from this record at any time.

What to expect

Live teaching sessions occur from 2 to 5pm:

  • Tuesdays (Year 1)
  • Wednesdays (Year 2)
  • Thursdays (Year 3)

Activities include:

  • Access to selected articles and other resources for each topic
  • Suggested textbook readings for each topics
  • Suggested reflection on practice
