Mental Health Course Fees

Once you complete enrolment, you will receive an invoice for your fees via myHETIconnect. The due date is the census date. Enrolment is active for paid students only.

Applied Mental Health Studies courses

Each of the degrees are nested courses containing a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters degree. To complete a degree level (i.e. Graduate Certificate) students need to complete 600 hours of study.

Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma:

  • The tuition fee for Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma 50 hour units is $500 for Knowledge Units and $885 for Foundation and Enhance Units. Students completing the degree course may be eligible for FEE-HELP.

Masters: 

  • The tuition fee for the Masters 150 hour units is $2270/per unit.

Professional Development:

  • Stackable Professional Development units are $500 (Knowledge units) and $885 (Foundation and Enhance units)

Psychiatric Medicine degree courses

Each of the degrees are nested courses containing a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters degree. Each degree level contains 4 units of study of 150 hours each.

The 2022 tuition fees are:

  • $2270 per unit studied as a degree student. Students studying postgraduate award courses may be eligible for FEE-HELP.
  • $1485 per unit for Psychiatric Medicine units studied as Professional Development.

Postgraduate Course in Psychiatry

  • For NSW Health doctors in training the total cost of a three-year Postgraduate Course in Psychiatry (PCP) is $3,000.  This will be charged at $500 per semester.
  • For non-NSW Health doctors the cost is $2970 per semester or total of $17,820.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Advanced Training

  • The 2022 tuition fees are $4,392 per semester.

How to pay

Tuition fees are payable by census date of each semester. You will be provided with information on key dates within the academic calendar, costs and course details when your enrolment is confirmed. It is a condition of enrolment that students have read and understand the Student Fee Policy.

Payments are to be made online via MyHETIconnect. Once you have logged in to your account, head to the Finance tab to find your payment options. Please contact support@heti.edu.au if you require assistance.

FEE-HELP

If you are enrolled in an award course, you may be eligible for FEE-HELP, which is applied for via MyHETIconnect during the enrolment process.

Statement of Tuition Assurance
