Congratulations to our 65 graduating students . . .

HETI Higher Education celebrated their first in-person graduation ceremony in 3 years on Friday 13 May 2022.  Held at 1 Reserve Road, HETI Higher Education students graduated from their Higher Education courses.

Our graduates were fortunate to be addressed by Ms Susan Pearce, Secretary NSW Health.  Also, in attendance to celebrate our graduates’ achievements were Mr Paul De Carlo representing Phil Minns Deputy Secretary NSW Health; Uncle Alan Murray, Chairman, Metropolitan Aboriginal Land Council, and Adjunct Professor Annette Solman Chief Executive HETI as well as family, friends and HETI higher education staff.

The event was live streamed and viewed by many of our students graduating in absentia.

"I watched the excellent graduation ceremony real-time online from Adelaide this morning with a mixture of admiration, pride and wonder. Admiration for all the graduates, pride that I could be among them and wonder how I managed to graduate at all.

Well, I got there because of all you academic, professional, support and administrative people who have been rigorous in expecting very high standards and incredibly supportive in helping everyone (and me) get there – and you all are incredibly friendly, with a good sense of humour. I could not have done it without you all. Thank you all very much. I have achieved something very worthwhile" . . .[Wayne Clapton]

We are very proud of our students who have achieved much in building their mental health capabilities during their studies and will undoubtedly continue to make a difference in mental health.

Congratulations and well done to all!
