This unit will examine personality development, disruption and personality disorders, such as borderline personality disorder. A lived experience of personality disorders and an emphasis on collaborative ways of working will inform learning. Students will develop knowledge relevant for care planning and draw on evidence-based and recovery-oriented approaches for working with people who experience personality disorders.
