Motivational interview is a collaborative counselling approach that can be used in a wide range of settings and integrated with brief interventions. In this unit learners will develop knowledge of core principles of motivational interviewing and critically reflect on the application of motivational interviewing to diverse contexts. It is recommended students first undertake 8ALF016 Structured Therapies.
