Pre-Requisite: Evidence-based Practice (8ALF013)

In this unit you will develop an understanding of the key stages of developing a research proposal. Using skills developed in Evidenced-based practice (8ALF013) you will develop a research question, and a research plan including appropriate research methodology to explore the question chosen. The plan will identify key ethical considerations as well as an outline of data analysis and dissemination processes.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the unit, students will be able to:

  1. Develop a plan relevant to mental health which explains the rationale for a recovery-oriented project and its design, considers ethical implications, and outlines plans for implementation, data analysis and dissemination of findings.
