In this unit you will explore the core underpinnings of evidence-based practice, and the opportunities offered through partnership with people with lived experience in improving mental healthcare.

After completing this unit you will be able to distinguish between evidence-based practice, quality improvement and research; describe the roles of qualitative and quantitative research in mental health; and conduct a literature search to answer a question relevant to your role.

Learning Outcomes
