Anna is a psychologist with a passion for improving mental health outcomes of children and young people. Anna has worked for NSW Health for over 20 years and held roles in a number of Local Health Districts across the state; she has worked in both inpatient and community teams, primarily engaged in the delivery of psychological interventions to young people presenting with complex mental health conditions. Before joining HETI Higher Education in 2016, Anna was nominated for Employee of the Year when she was the Clinical Leader Adolescent Mental Health Programs (Justice Health and the Forensic Mental Health Network) and predominantly engaged in the provision of clinical consultation, supervision and education. Anna actively contributed to the development of the NSW CAMHS Competency Framework and is part of the NSW Child and Youth Mental Health Advisory Group.

Anna is an Adjunct Lecturer at the School of Medicine, Sydney Campus of the University of Notre Dame, and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society and the IEPA Early Intervention in Mental Health. In addition to her university qualifications which include a Masters of Forensic Mental Health (UNSW), Anna has recently completed a Diploma of Project Management (NSW TAFE) and in 2022 obtained a microcredential in Designing for Learning (UTS).
