You can apply for postgraduate study with HETI through our online application. If you require support or have questions you are welcome to contact our friendly Learning Pathways Unit for assistance with the application process. Read through the requirements for the Admissions process before starting. You will need to supply documentation appropriate to the application you make.
There are basic entry requirements descriptions available for Psychiatric Medicine and Applied Mental Health Studies. Note that the type of documentation to prove you meet entry requirements varies depending on your chosen course and type of study. These are detailed in the process description for online admission.
All students need to provide Proof of Identity which includes a Certified copy of a Photo ID (Drivers Licence or Passport) and a Passport style photograph.
Applicants may request that their previous learning and experience be assessed for advanced standing towards a postgraduate award. If you wish to apply, please complete the Advanced Standing Application Form as you will need to upload it. Note that students who have completed NSW Institute of Psychiatry (NSWIOP) do not need to apply for Advanced Standing but should supply your academic transcript or details at the Qualifications section of the admission application.

Successful applicants will receive notification by email of their Letter of Offer. This will include a link to enable you to accept/decline your offer.
Once your offer has been accepted, you'll be able to progress and manage your enrolments through MyHETIconnect.
