Future of work program - Funding for the Full-time Graduate Certificate Applied Mental Health

The Future of Work program is supported by BHP and the Department of Education, Skills and Employment.

The Future of Work program is supported by BHP and  the Department of Education, Skills and Employment. The aim of the program is  to prepare the nation’s workforce for the future by creating 1,000 skills  development opportunities through funding advanced apprenticeships and short courses for students. This means  your enrolment in the full-time Graduate Certificate Applied Mental Health  Studies could make you eligible for the cost of your study to be covered by the  program.

Eligible students will need to currently reside in  one of the following areas (and demonstrate proof of residence):

  • Bowen Basin and Mackay in Queensland
  • Upper Spencer and Roxby Downs Gulf in South Australia
  • the Pilbara and Goldfields in Western Australia
  • the Hunter Region in New South Wales.

Eligible students will also need to provide  evidence of enrolment in our full-time Graduate Certificate Applied Mental  Health Studies for commencement in Semester 2, 2021. Please note that the full-time course is not available in 2022.
