COVID19 support for students in Semester 2, 2020

Publish date:

The health and safety of all students and staff at HETI Higher Education remains of upmost importance during the challenges we face with the COVID-19 pandemic.

To maintain physical distancing all Psychiatric Medicine and CAP lectures will be held online until further notice. Workshops have also been moved to virtual delivery. All information is found in myHETI along with access details.

For free and confidential support at any hour of any day, students and their families may access the Student Assistance Program (SAP) and contact them on 1300 360 364.

Submissions of assessments can prove challenging during COVID19 times. Extensions of 1 week per assessment can be made via myHETIconnect using the ‘Student details & requests’ Tab. If your situation is ongoing, you can request special consideration for the duration of the semester, following the appropriate guidelines, also via myHETIconnect.

Additionally, HETI have developed new and interactive resources to support yourself and others (including caring for your team, patients, carers and families) during the pandemic, please click here to access.
