Rhonda has worked in health services for over 25 years including direct service roles in social work and service management and education. She is experienced in primary care and acute settings in NSW Health, with significant leadership and management experience across wide-ranging clinical and service delivery initiatives. Rhonda is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM).
Rhonda’s speciality includes particular focus on leading ongoing service improvement with significant experience in achieving service standards and supporting innovation in delivery. In addition, Rhonda is a surveyor for the Australian Council of Health Service Surveyors against the National Safety Quality Health Standards.
Rhonda was appointed as the Executive Director of the NSW Institute of Psychiatry (NSWIOP) in June 2014 to lead the governance and educational reform of the organisation and to manage the transition of the NSWIOP to the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI). This has involved delivery of sustainable models in education and business within a contemporary governance model.
